How to Apply - Canadian Residents
Call and come in for a free appointment to assess your language needs. When you would like to start, you can register at the school (see contact info and directions) or online (go to Register).
How to Apply – International Students
It’s easy! Decide how long you want to stay, and follow the specified instructions!
Very Important note: If you think you may want to stay more than 6 months, you should apply for a Study Permit. If you do not have a valid Study Permit and wish to continue your studies, you will have to leave Canada to apply for one!
Study for less than 6 months

Contact the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate
for guidance on how to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa. Download and fill out the Temporary Resident Visa Application Check the document checklist on the site above and attach all necessary documents and information to your application. Submit your application to your nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate. |

Once you have received your visa, contact us to confirm your registration and dates. NOTE: If you are denied a temporary resident visa, we will immediately refund your money. (minus the application fee and associated bank fees). |
Study for more than 6 months
All students need to apply for a study permit at the Canadian Embassy or Canadian Consulate for their country.
You will need a Letter of Acceptance from Bloorwest Language Academy to obtain your Study Permit.
Step 1
Download the study permit application to fill out. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/student.html
Contact the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate for your country to see if you check if you have all the required documents.
Step 2
Read our withdrawal policy. Register online and make a deposit of 2000CAD (see Payment Options) which will go towards your total tuition. When you pay, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance in the mail which you will need to obtain your Study Permit.
Step 3
When all your documents are ready and you have received the Letter of Acceptance from Bloorwest Language Academy, you can submit your Study Permit to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate.
Step 4
Notify us by email or by phone to let us know whether your Study Permit application has been successful.
If your application for a Study Permit is successful, please contact us to confirm your start date and pay the outstanding balance of your fees.
If you are denied a Study Permit, we will refund your deposit of 2000 CAD immediately upon receipt of the letter from the Embassy stating your visa was denied.
